I. in the process of plastic gravure printing, benzene free ink (mainly alcohol soluble ink) is used to replace the current benzene soluble ink

II. The solvent used in the dry compounding process is ethyl acetate. Although the integrated emission standard of air pollutants (g816297-1996) does not specify the emission of ethyl acetate gas, the gas is harmful to human respiratory tract and liver, so it should be minimized or recycled. At present, some enterprises have developed alcohol soluble polyurethane adhesive which uses industrial alcohol instead of ethyl acetate as the solvent for checking the oxygen index before the commencement of the project. The adhesive uses alcohol as the solvent, has no pollution, has good compatibility with alcohol soluble ink, and the cost is not high. It will be widely used

when using alcohol soluble gravure printing ink, pay attention to the following matters:

first, store it at a lower temperature, and fully stir the ink before use to make it have good flow performance

II. Alcohol soluble inks should meet the requirements of computer application in terms of viscosity, thinness and dryness. Generally speaking, ethanol can be used as fast drying diluent and butanol as slow drying diluent. When the speed of the printing press is high or the weather is cold and dry slowly in winter, a quick drying agent can be added to accelerate its dryness

III. alcohol soluble inks can be mixed with each other to adjust various colors, but cannot be mixed with other types of inks, especially with chlorinated polypropylene inks, so as to avoid resin precipitation
